Doctor Sidd Sarmah is one of our valued doctors at Mudgeeraba Health Hub, he trained in general practice and emergency medicine in the UK going on to complete his membership from the Royal College of General Practitioners. He holds a fellowship with the RACGP and has also completed advanced certificates in skin cancer. Doctor Sarmah is also a GP tutor and examiner for Bond University.

His special interests are in the field of skin cancer, cosmetics, men’s health, musculoskeletal medicine and chronic pain including medicinal cannabis and mental health.

Dr Sarmah is a keen tennis enthusiast and is a regular at the Mudgeeraba Tennis Club and loves to spend his time with his young family and two dogs in the Mudgeeraba hinterland.

Doctor Phin Lim is another one of our valued Doctors at Mudgeeraba Health Hub, she completed her UG studies in Singapore before moving to London to finish her UG Medical Degree from St Georges Medical School in London. She worked across various hospitals in the UK and Gibraltar before finding her calling in General Practice. Doctor Lim emigrated to Australia in 2007 and has been a GP on the Gold Coast after completing her FRCAGP.

An empathetic GP with a keen interest in traditional Chinese medicine and medical acupuncture, Doctor Lim has completed a fellowship in medical acupuncture and is an examiner and trainer for the acupuncture college and medical students from Bond and Griffith Universities.

Along with interests in pain management, women’s health and mental health, Doctor Lim strives to be the best medical practitioner she can be.

Living on the Gold Coast with her husband and two children, Doctor Lim enjoys travel, exploring, cooking and table tennis.

Doctor Lim is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.

Dr Ayman Sharab, one of our valued doctors, has a special interest/passion in chronic health conditions including heart disease, Diabetes and chronic lung disease, and geriatric medicine. He believes in rationalising medication and limiting overprescribing when it is not indicated or supported by scientific evidence. Dr Sharab has worked for over 10 years in Devonport Tasmania as a family doctor and established strong relationships with my patients who often were extended families over 3 generations. Since I moved to Gold Coast 3 years ago I worked in a variety of clinical settings in Gold Coast, rural Queensland, and justice health before deciding to settle in Mudgeeraba Health Hub. “I felt the sense of the strong, warm community of Mudgeeraba from the start which made me decide to stay. Needless to say, It reminds me of Tasmania which will always have a special place in my heart.”

Brad completed his Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Bilinga, QLD.

Brad is particularly interested in exercise rehabilitation and restorative practices to get his clients moving again and feeling their best. Brad takes an individualistic approach to each client and their presenting complaint. Whatever the condition, Brad works to identify and treat underlying causes with a range of manual therapy techniques, including HVLA, exercise rehabilitation, dry needling, and myofascial cupping.

Brad grew up in Sydney, playing competitive cricket and golf at a high level, after school, he completed a Bachelor of Business. After owning and operating a Snap Fitness Gym for six years, he soon found his true passion for helping people through osteopathic practices.

Having moved to the coast several years ago, he enjoys spending time leading a healthy lifestyle with his wife, newborn son and their two dogs.

DIABETES EDUCATOR

Deb Singh is our on-site credentialed Diabetic Educator. She has over 20 years’ experience in nursing and 7 years’ experience in teaching. She has travelled extensively overseas, living in Kathmandu (Nepal) for 2 years where she worked in emergency medicine. Sing is passionate in her aim to help improve the lives of people currently diagnosed with Diabetes, also assisting families and carers along with those at risk of developing diabetes in the future. Deb shares the knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence needed to manage diabetes and make informed decisions about diabetes care and treatment.

Deb has 3 children which means she approaches work and life with a sense of humor and flexibility. She is passionate about providing comprehensive diabetes care to patients with an emphasis on self-management and setting realistic goals. Her areas of expertise include everyday aspects of diabetes management, insulin titration, pharmacotherapy, gestational diabetes and diabetes cycle of care participation.

Availability: Friday afternoons fortnightly by appointment.
